PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair whose attitude can be easily switched to a first use attitude for a child or to a second use attitude for an adult. SOLUTION: The chair has first and second leg supports 5 and 6 pivoted to a base 4 fixed to a floor in such a way as swingable forward/backward. A first seat part 7 is attached to the upper end of the first leg support 5 and a second seat part 8 is pivoted to the upper end of the second leg support 6 in such a way as swingable forward/backward. The front end of the second seat part 8 is pivoted to the first seat apart 7 and a backrest 9 is extended from the rear end of the second seat part 8. The attitude of the chair can be switched by the swing of the leg supports 5 and 6, between the first use attitude in which the first seat part 7 and the second seat part 8 are provided side by side so that their upper surfaces 7a and 8a are flushed with each other, and the second use attitude in which the front of the first seat part 7 is lowered.
