PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater vehicle capable of navigating efficiently, miniaturizing mechanical devices such as a crane which drop the underwater vehicle into water from a mother ship or lift it onto the mother ship from the vicinity of the water surface, and being transported by an aircraft and dropped into water from the aircraft. SOLUTION: The underwater vehicle 10 is constituted by mutually connecting a plurality of cylindrical pressure-proof vessels 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a, 15a, which can be uncoupled. Inside of the pressure-proof vessels 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a, and 15a, devices 11b, 12b, 13b, 13c, 14b, 15b, and 15c, which are different from one another are stored and each of the pressure-proof vessels 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a, 15a is modularized.
