PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device for an assembly 2 of an internal combustion engine, especially, a device for connecting a cylinder head to a crank chamber by using at least one tie-rod 1, wherein a sealing device is arranged for the tie-rod 1 or each tension rod 1 so that a male screw 4 of the tie-rod 1 is tightly sealable for a medium. SOLUTION: In order to structure a new type device with a tie rod connection part for surely protecting the screw of the tie rod against corrosion without providing a groove causing a notch stress in the tie-rod, an elastomer sealing ring 6 with a groove is provided for the sealing device. The elastomer sealing ring 6 is fixed in a screw escape groove 7 of a circumferential surface of a tie-rod shaft in a form connecting manner and is surely pressed by screwing the tie-rod 1 into a hole 12 of the assembly 2 and by surface geometries of the circumference surface of the tie-rod shaft and the hole 12 of the assembly 2.
