<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of executing automatically a predetermined operation in response to a connected medium. <P>SOLUTION: An HDD 16 of a computer 1 stores an identification number of the medium connected in the past, and a medium control table correlated with the operation executed when connected. An OS retrieves the medium control table, using the identification number of the connected medium as a key, when the medium such as a USB memory and an SD card is connected.
