PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle boarding support system in which a standby mode of a mobile phone is automatically changed. SOLUTION: When an ID code signal from a mobile phone 2 is inputted in response to a request signal, a boarding support device 30 verifies an ID code contained in the ID code signal with an ID code preset to the rising supporting device 30. When those ID codes are matched, door locking is canceled and a mode specification signal for setting the mobile phone 2 to a standby mode (drive mode) is transmitted to the mobile phone 2. On the basis of the mode specification signal from the boarding support device 30, the mobile phone 2 reads the standby mode (drive mode) of the mobile phone 2.
