The invention relates to a flashlight for alarm systems, comprising a light source (L) containing at least one light emitting diode (1) and a circuit which controls said light source, said circuit comprising a feed supply (2), a current converter (W) and flash control device (B). The current converter (W) comprises a control unit (4), an inductor (6), an induction stop (7) and a resistor (8) which are connected in series.
