PURPOSE:To obtain an optical transmitter of small size, low cost, and hardly affecting to noise and having godd transmission characteristics, by incorporating a television camera and the optical transmitter and retrenches electric transmission line between the television camera and the optical transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A camera main body circuit 7, an electrooptic signal conversion section (E/O) 9, and a stabilized power supply 18 for these device are incorporated in one casing. A video signal outputted from the circuit 7 is inputted to the E/O 9 through wirings on the circuit substrate and converted into an optical signal and transmitted to an optical fiber 5 via an optical connector 4. Thus, the electric transmission line such as a coaxial cable is not required, the video signal being hardly affected to the electric noise due to electromagnetic induction and having less noise deterioration is transmitted to an optical receiver. |
