PURPOSE:To improve the operational feeling under fine working of an accelerator, by providing a speed change control means for holding the speed change ratio at a level prior to change of opening even if the opening of hysteresis width changed, when the throttle opening is changed in the increasing or the decreasing direction. CONSTITUTION:A speed change controller has an engine rotation sensor 71, a vehicle speed sensor 72 and a throttle opening sensor 73 as input sensors 70, a control unit 81 and a driver 82 as a speed change control means 80 and a step motor 90 as an actuator. It is provided with a speed change control means having such characteristic as the speed change ratio is held at a level prior to change of opening of hysteresis width when the throttle opening is changed to increasing or decreasing direction. Consequently, a good operational feeling can be ensured under fine working of accelerator, with speed change ratio response demanded by a continuously variable transmission for the operation of an accelerator in one direction being ensured. |
