PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device, informing a user of the occurrence of a failure by informing sound or display on determining a failure from that the value of a differential pressure detecting part is above a predetermined value in the stop state of the blower, although it is difficult for the user to determine the failure of a differential pressure sensor in the case of controlling the gas quantity of the ventilating device using a differential pressure sensor provided in the vicinity of an exhaust opening of the ventilating device in the prior art. SOLUTION: In this ventilating device 1, in the operating state of the blower 5, on detecting that the value of the differential pressure detecting part 4 is a predetermined value or less, the occurrence of failure is informed to a user by the informing sound or display, so that the user can suitably deal with it.
