PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adhesive cement which can cement dentine to a prosthetic material with sufficient adhesive strength without using a self-etching primer. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive cement for dentistry contains a polymerizable monomer (A) having a non-conjugated carbon chain in which four or more carbon atoms are successively bound, two or more polymerizable groups and two or more hydroxy groups. It is preferable that the self-adhesive cement for the dentistry contains an acidic group-having polymerizable monomer (B) in an amount of 1 to 80 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass total of the polymerizable monomer component, and further contains a polymerization initiator (E) and a filler (G) in amounts of 0.01 to 30 pts.mass and 40 to 900 pts.mass, respectively, per 100 pts.mass total of the polymerizable monomer component.
