摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a laser module having structure in which two cylindrical members each of which holds a laser light source and a condensing optical system which condenses a laser beam made incident on an optical fiber are fixed by welding, by optimizing a relative position between the laser light source and the condensing optical system. SOLUTION: In a method for assembling the laser module constituted by providing the laser light source 11, a condensing optical system 12 which condenses a laser beam B from the laser light source 11, an external cylinder 30a which holds one of the laser light source 11 and the condensing optical system 12, an internal cylinder 31a which is fixed in the external cylinder 30a and holds the other of the laser light source 11 and the condensing optical system 12 and the optical fiber 13 on which the condensed laser beam B is made incident, output of the laser beam B emitted from the optical fiber 13 is monitored, the welding is started for the external cylinder 30a and the internal cylinder 31a while the distance between the laser light source 11 and the condensing optical system 12 is made larger than the optimal value and the welding is repeated until output to be confirmed by every welding becomes larger than a predetermined value.
