<p>This document describes, e.g., a system and method for minimizing superfluous signaling traffic and for minimizing data processing pressures on a network including a network information repository (NIR), comprising: having mobile stations that enter a network domain compare and detect inconsistencies in network information received through different sources and report those inconsistencies to the NIR; having the NIR update a cell broadcast controller (CBC)/BMSC with said network information; and having the CBC/BMSC broadcast or multicast the updated information.</p> |
