<p>The antenna (ANT1) has two strands (B1, B3) arranged such that the strands are electromagnetically coupled with each other when the strands are traveled by currents in opposite directions, where the strands are excited by a radiofrequency signal. An electrical switch e.g. polarized diode (C1), electrically connect the strands so as to form a slot between the strands. The antenna resonates at a resonance frequency determined by geometry of the slot.</p> |
