PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device which is suitable for preventing the erroneous detection of a resolver when a radial load has been applied on the rolling bearing device. SOLUTION: A direct drive motor 100 is composed of a cross roller bearing 14 having an inner race 14a and an outer race 14b, a housing inner 22 which is fitted in the inner circumferential surface of the inner race 14a with a clearance and is supported by the inner race 14a, a rotor 12 which is fitted on the outer circumferential surface of the outer race 14b with a clearance and is supported by the outer race 14b, a resolver 30 in which the reluctance between the housing inner 22 and the rotor 12 varies according to the position of the rotor 12, an inner race presser 26 for fixing the inner race 14a to the housing inner 22 by applying an axial pre-load to the inner race 14a, and an outer race presser 28 for fixing the outer race 14b to the rotor 12 by applying an axial pre-load to the outer race 14b. Then, the inner race presser 26 is axially fitted on the housing inner 22 by faucet fitting, and the outer race presser 28 is axially fitted on the rotor 12 by faucet fitting respectively.
