<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector 10 having high dust-proofness without applying much insertion force to an FPC 64, and capable of preventing a rotating member from being damaged even in the case of multiple cores. <P>SOLUTION: A contact 14 is provided with a contact part 26, a connection part 40, a support part 28, a joining part 30 and a pressure reception part 32, is arranged in a nearly lateral H-shape, and is structured such that the contact part 26 is connected to the FPC 64 when a pressing part 54 of the rotating member 18 rotates between the connection part 40 and the pressure reception part 32. A housing 12 is provided with a ceiling part 50 and an upper wall part 52. The rotating member 18 is provided with an operation part 56, the pressing part 54, the pressure reception part 32, a locking hole 58 , a cover part 60 and a cutout part 74. After rotating the rotating member 18 by putting a finger on the operation part 56 other than the cutout part 74 thereof, a distance between a tip of the upper wall part 52 and the operation part 56, and a distance between the upper wall part 52 and a tip of the rotating member 18 on the side opposite to the operation part 56 are reduced within ranges preventing the rotating member 18 from touching the upper wall part 52 of the housing 12 in rotating it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
