An optical pointing device of a portable terminal is provided to improve an assembling structure of a condensing unit which collects light, and to enable a user to install the condensing unit by more easily holding the condensing unit even though a separate tool is used, thereby maintaining a firm arrangement state as increasing assembling power and working power. A holder(10) is equipped with a receiving hole(12). A luminous unit is installed in the receiving hole of the holder. A condensing unit consists of one pair of prisms(35) integratedly configured to condense light of the luminous unit as being installed in the receiving hole of the holder, and a condensing lens(40) disposed between the one pair of the prisms. An image sensor takes the light provided through the condensing unit to operate the taken light as a displacement value.
