To allow for a catheter to be easily visible in ultrasound pictures and thus to allow for a position control of a catheter with relatively little effort, an ultrasound marking device at the distal end of a catheter is provided in a body of a living being that can be detected by ultrasound. The catheter comprises a lumen and the ultrasound marking device in the lumen is arranged close to the distal end in a way, such that is can be removed via a proximal end of the catheter. |
