PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element having an organic emission medium layer formed by a wet method and excellent luminescent color purity, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element comprises the organic emission medium layer containing at least a hole transport layer and an organic emission layer between a transparent electrode and an opposite electrode, and in at least one layer in the organic emission medium layer, an organic emission medium material is inked to form the organic electroluminescence element by a coat method or a print method. The organic electroluminescence element has a luminescent color degree adjustment layer in the organic emission medium layer, and the luminescent color degree adjustment layer is formed by a method of coating or printing an ink containing a luminescent color adjustment material showing absorption to an area except for an emission wavelength to be required.
