PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer trap component which can easily adjust a trap frequency. SOLUTION: The multi-layer trap component 1 includes a multi-layer 10 on which non-magnetic layers A1-A12 are laminated, a coil L1 which is located inside the multi-layer 10, and external electrodes 12, 14 which are formed on both side of a longitudinal direction of the multi-layer 10 respectively. The multi-layer 10 has a first multi-layer portion 10a composed of a non-magnetic layer A1 and a second multi-layer portion 10b composed of non-magnetic layers A2-A12. The whole coil L1 is positioned in the second multi-layer portion 10b. The dielectric constant of the first multi-layer portion 10a is higher than the dielectric constant of the dielectric constant of the second multi-layer portion 10b. Thereby, the first multi-layer portion 10a having a higher dielectric constant is positioned between the coil L1 and the external electrodes 12, 14, then, the floating capacitance produced between the coil L1 and the external electrodes 12, 14 becomes larger.
