PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide clothing having a wearing opening, from which a sliding-down preventive band part is omitted and the thickness of which is made thin to eliminate tightening feeling so as to make a wearer have comfortable wearing feeling and hardly cause sliding down. SOLUTION: The clothing includes an edge stitch portion for starting knitting, and a single-welt body continued to the edge stitch portion and having single-welt knit structure of single knit.
