PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load operating chair, having simple, economical and small-sized structure. SOLUTION: This chair includes: a support base 12; a seat 14 including a movable support structure 38; and a backrest 16 having the support structure 22 connected to the support base and rocking in the periphery of a transverse shaft 28, wherein the seat 14 is connected to the backrest 16 so that when the backrest is located in the most forward tilting position, the seat is located in the lowered position, and when the backrest is located in the most backward tilting position, it is located in the elevated position, the seat support structure 38 is connected to the support base 12 by a rocking lever 58 connected to the support base 12 and the seat support structure 38 in the periphery of the transverse shafts 60, 62, the backrest support structure 22 includes two side parts 26 having a connecting part 34 extended to the support base 12 over a joint shaft 28 of the backrest 16, and the connecting parts 34 are connected to the seat support structure 38 in the periphery of a transverse shaft 56 disposed in front of the joint shaft 28 of the backrest 16.
