An apparatus and a method for cooling an air-cooled wheel blade for a wheeled saw are provided to cool the wheel blade by spraying ultra low temperature air over the wheel blade. An apparatus includes a wheel blade(10) having a disk shape, a cylinder(30) fastened onto a center of one side of the wheel blade through a bolt(20) and a nut(22), and an air tank(40) which covers an outer surface of the cylinder, and has a predetermined volume. The cylinder has the outer surface with a recess(32), an inner surface with evacuation holes formed at a predetermined interval, and a center with a bolt hole. The cylinder has an internal space(38) formed in a lower portion thereof.
