<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition input device allowing comparatively easy recognition of a target object and reducing erroneous recognition for allowing real-time processing. <P>SOLUTION: By comparing object information extracted by an object information extraction circuit 31 with respective pieces of color information in a color information storage part 32 and respective pieces of color combination information in a color combination information storage part 33, color combination information about monochrome parts of a target object 5 is specified by a comparison circuit 34, and the target object is recognized from the color combination information about the monochrome parts of the target object in a first frame by means of a microcomputer 4.
