A signal transmitting circuit with an improved transmission characteristic is provided to improve the transmission characteristic and an FEXT(Far End Cross Talk) characteristic. A signal transmitting circuit with an improved transmission characteristic includes a plurality of metal layers and a plurality of insulating layers, a plurality of signal transmission lines(SL1,SL2), and a reference transmission plane(RPSS). The plurality of signal transmission lines(SL1,SL2) are formed from one metal layer among metal layers, and transmit signal currents(Is1,Is2) which represent data. The reference transmission plane(RPSS) is formed from another metal layer electrically separated from the metal layer by the insulating layer, and transmits return currents(Ir1,Ir2) corresponding to the signal currents(Is1,Is2). The reference transmission plane(RPSS) has a plurality of separation slots(SS) formed parallel to the adjacent signal transmission lines(SL1,SL2) to reduce cross-talk between the adjacent signal transmission lines(SL1,SL2) by the return currents(Ir1,Ir2).
