PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe support for timbering provided with a load release device attaining simplification of structure and improvement of work efficiency in installation and dismantlement of timbering. SOLUTION: The pipe support A comprises an outer pipe 1, an inner pipe 2, an adjusting ring 5 for adjusting the extension length of the inner pipe 2, and the load release device 7 for releasing axial force applied to a screwed part of the adjusting ring 5 and a screw part 6a when dismantling the timbering. The load release device 7 comprises a vertical pair of outer cylinders 7a, 7b and an inner cylinder 7c fittingly inserted in a coaxially turnable manner to straddle divided end faces 14, 15. The outer cylinders 7a, 7b are arranged on the lower end side of the outer pipe 1, and the divided end faces 14, 15 are provided with a vertical pair of load release recessed parts 18, 19. The recessed bottom end faces 18a, 19a of the load release recessed parts 18, 19 are of tapered shape gradually inclining from one end side toward the other end side in a circumferential direction. The inner cylinder 7c comprises a load holding handle 17 interposed between the load release recessed parts 18, 19 to axially space the outer cylinders 7a, 7b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
