A tamping head (4) of track tamping machine with ballast consists of hammer body (9) with front and back parts (19,20) and screens of hammer (2) that is installed on the lower end of the body of the hammer (9), with lower edge of screen (6) that is at distance from the body of the hammer (9) and front side of screen (1) provided in front of opposite side of the screen (7). At that body of the hammer (9) forms with opposite side of the screen (7) common circular line of body (11) that is parallel to the lower edge of the screen (6). To decrease resistance of penetration to ballast skewed surface of hammer (3) forms with the front side of the screen (1) acute angle and generatrix plane (13) and is restricted at one side with lower edge of the screen (6) and at the other side with line of intersection of the body (22) formed by intersection with all the back part of the body (20). Base line (15) placed at skewed surface of the hammer (3) and formed at one side with basic plane (14) going normally to the front side of the screen (1) and through the upper side (8) of the screen of the hammer (2) and at the other side - by skewed surface of the hammer (3) is from the upper, most far from the lower edge of the screen (6) end point (A) of skewed surface of the hammer (3) further than from the end line of the body (11). |
