摘要 A process for potassium iodate obtaining consists in electrochemical oxidation at oxidative ruthenium-titanium anode at current density to 2 000 A/m2 of potassium iodide in solution to potassium iodate in presence of potassium dichromate with weight concentration to 2 kg/m3 at temperature of 60-80 DEGREE C, and isolation of potassium iodate crystals from the electrolyte at cooling to ambient temperature, at that electrochemical oxidation is carried out continuously at weight concentration in potassium iodide electrolyte solution of 55-85 kg/m3 and potassium iodate of 70-170 kg/m3, and the isolation of potassium iodate is carried out by continuous withdrawal of electrolyte part, crystals are cooled and separated from mother waters, and the latter, being isolated from crystals, is strengthened by potassium iodide and returned into the electrolytic tank.
