摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire 2 for a motorcycle which is superior in gripping performance, driving stability, and transient characteristics. SOLUTION: The tire 2 for the motorcycle is provided with a tread 4. The tread 4 consists of a center region 18, a pair of shoulder regions 20 and a pair of intermediate regions 22. At the time of straight-ahead driving, the center region 18 is predominantly brought into contact with a ground, and at the time of turning, the shoulder regions 20 are predominantly brought into contact with a ground. The modulus Mm of the rubber composition of the intermediate region 22 is smaller than the modulus Mc of the center region 18, and larger than the modulus Ms of the shoulder region 20. The ratio (Mc-Mm)/(Mm-Ms) is in a range of 1/3 to 3/1, and the ratio (Wm/W) is in a range of 0.3 to 0.8.
