PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly set the timing of switching a start prize-winning port from nullification to validation. SOLUTION: A start prize-winning port 3 is provided with a start prize-winning port detector 3a. Below first and second prize holes 4 and 5 of a role object 12 first and second prize hole detectors 4b and 5b are provided, respectively, and below the winning and losing holes 20 and 21 of a prize-winning device 6 winning and losing ball detectors 20b and 21b are provided, respectively. When the start prize-winning port detector 3a detects the prize winning of a game ball, a CPU 62 invalidates the start prize-winning port detector 3a and opens/closes first and second blades 4a and 5a once or twice. When the number A of prize-winning balls flowing into the role object 12 conforms to the number B of losing balls discharged therefrom in a game ball counter 66 during this period, the start prize-winning port detector 3a is validated. Also, after the game proceeds to the winning mode and when the number C of prize-winning balls conforms to the sum of the number D of losing balls and the number M of winning balls, and yet the winning mode is continuously repeated 15 times, the start prize-winning port detector 3a is validated.
