<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which does not cause the following fault of toner even when a large quantity of image information of high printing density is consecutively printed at high speed, and which does not cause an image defect such as the lowering of image density or thinning of an image, thereby stably forming a high-quality image. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 1 includes: a developing part 2 supplying the toner to an electrostatic latent image on an electrophotographic photoreceptor 5; a toner supply part 3 including a toner supply roller 17 supplying the toner to the developing part 2; and a control part 4. In the developing device 1, the control part 4 allows the toner supply roller 17 to rotate regularly, and allows it to rotate preliminarily and also controls so that a difference between developing bias voltage applied to a developing roller 7 from a first power source 8 and supply bias voltage applied to a supply roller 10 from a second power source 11 may be large according as a printing rate of the image information to be formed as an image gets higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
