PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing a tire molding mold which is inexpensive and prevents a vent hole from being clogged. SOLUTION: In the method for washing the tire molding mold, the air discharge surface 1b of the tire molding mold 1 having the vent hole 2 and the delivery surface 12a of an air delivery device 12 are placed to face each other, and a frame 11 is arranged between the air discharge surface 1b and the delivery surface 12b. A closed space 20 is formed by the air discharge surface 1b, the frame 11, and the delivery surface 12a. An air flow 21 is delivered into the closed space 20, and a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure is maintained. While the air flow 21 is discharged to the side of a tire molding surface 1a through the vent hole 2, blast powder is sprayed on the tire molding surface 1a to wash the tire molding surface 1a.
