<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve finely-tuned traffic control by improving a degree of freedom in combining a plurality of traffic control schemes. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus is provided which comprises a plurality of first queues to each of which a priority order or a predetermined bandwidth is assigned and a plurality of second queues, corresponding to any one of the first queues, to each of which a priority order is assigned, writes a packet to be transmitted to an opposite-side apparatus via a communication network to any one of the second queues or to any one of the first queues to which the second queue is not made corresponding, according to predetermined rules, reads a packet stored in each of the second queues in accordance with the priority order of the second queue, writes the read packet into a corresponding first queue, reads a packet stored in each of the first queues in the order according to its priority order or at time intervals corresponding to the assigned bandwidth and sends the read packet to the communication network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
