PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum-packaging machine which can be installed without separately preparing a working table, can improve the utilizing efficiency of a space, and of which the usability is good. SOLUTION: This vacuum-packaging machine is equipped with a chamber room 4, a pulling-out member 6, a lower heat-sealing member 7, an elevation-driving mechanism, an upper heat-sealing member, and a pressure-reducing mechanism. In this case, the chamber room 4 is provided in a cabinet 3 of which the upper surface is formed into a working surface 2, and on the front surface of which, an opening section 5 is provided. The pulling-out member 6 can be housed by being inserted into the chamber room from the opening section. The lower heat-sealing member 7 is provided on the pulling-out member under an elevatable state. The elevation-driving mechanism elevates the lower heat-sealing member. The upper heat-sealing member is arranged at a position with which the lower heat-sealing member comes into contact when the lower heat-sealing member is elevated. The pressure-reducing mechanism vacuumizes the inside of the chamber room. A packaging bag for heat-sealing is mounted on the pulling-out member by positioning the mouth section on the lower heat-sealing member, and the lower heat-sealing member is elevated under a state in which the inside of the chamber room is vacuumized. Thus, the mouth section of the packaging bag for heat-sealing is pinched by the upper and lower heat-sealing members, and at the same time, is heated to enable heat-sealing to be performed.
