摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and an image processing device and method which are capable of highly precisely extracting a stable contour by eliminating an influence such as noise when extracting the contour in image data obtained from the subject. <P>SOLUTION: When generating contour data of time-series image data, a standard profile data generating section 71 sets prestored standard profile data in the first image data, an operation point moving region setting section 73 sets a moving region in the normal direction of the standard profile data relative to a plurality of operation points disposed by an operation point setting section 72 on the standard profile data. A boundary detecting section 75 calculates a representative pixel value to the operation points based on pixel values of operation point pixels corresponding to the operation points and adjacent pixels adjoining to the operation point pixels and having a prescribed number of pixels, and generates the contour data based on variation of the representative pixel value caused by the moving of the operation points along the moving region. An adjacent pixel setting section 74 updates (optimizes) the number of the adjacent pixels based on the profile of the contour data and generates the contour data of the image data of respective time phases continuing to the image data based on the updated number of pixels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
