<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform resource saving of a large number of computer terminals disposed in an enterprise or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In this system having a server device (10) and client devices (20) communicably connected to each other, the client device has: a means (21) transmitting operation information showing an operation situation of the client device itself to the server device; and a means (22) controlling operation setting of the client device itself on the basis of an instruction from the server device. The server device has: a means (13) finding a workload in a prescribed period of the client device on the basis of the operation information from the client device; a means (14) deciding whether or not the workload corresponds to a fixed level previously allocated to the client device from a plurality of levels stepwise prescribed with the operation setting of the client device; a means (15) determining the operation setting of the client device on the basis of a result of the decision; and a means (16) notifying the client device of the determined operation setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
