PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the code size of an execution program in a microprocessor and its control method. SOLUTION: The microprocessor and its control method have command sets A and B which are constituted of a plurality of directly executable commands and selected and executed on the basis of a macro command A or B in a program, a rewritable definition memory 11 in which the command sets A and B are stored, and a CPU 13 which corrects the command set A or B based on correction information A1, A2 or B1 arranged immediately behind the macro command A or B in the program before executing the command set A or B of the definition memory 11 based on the macro command A or B.
