<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for relieving the contention of a downlink RRC message and the inter-cell movement of mobile equipment capable of continuing communication even in the case that the delivery of the downlink RRC message can not be confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: An RLC layer 12 of a base station controller (RNC) 10 divides the downlink RRC message into RLC AMD_PDU and transmits it, and in the case of exceeding the number of times of RLC AMD_PDU retransmission since RLC ACK can not be received from the mobile equipment (UE), an RCL error is notified from the RLC layer 12 to an RRC layer 11. The RRC layer 11 of the base station controller activates a timer, considers that the RLC error is the contention with the inter-cell movement of the mobile equipment at the time of receiving CELL UPDATE within a fixed period, and resets the RLC layer of the base station controller. The RRC layer 11 of the base station controller turns RLC RESET INDICATOR to TRUE in RRC: CELL UPDATE CONFIRM from the base station controller in order to reset the RLC layer of the mobile equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
