PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe light emitting element where the change of the light volume of the fluorescence by environmental temperature change is very small with simple and cheap composition, and a laser beam does not leak outside by utilizing the extremely high efficient laser oscillation state of electrophoto conversion. SOLUTION: The light emitting element is provided with a semiconductor laser (L12) having a Fabry-Perot type resonator put in between a first and a second end face (M1, M2), a phosphor contained part (110) for absorbing a laser beam and emitting visible light arranged to the first end face (M2) at least which can act as the laser beam outgoing radiation end face, and a laser beam return mechanism (M3) for returning a laser beam which passes the phosphor contained part to a semiconductor laser.
