A conveyance (10) having a plurality of wheels (22,26). The conveyance (10) including at least two drive axles (38,40) adapted to be mounted or disposed between the wheels (22,26). One of the wheels defining a first wheel (22). The first wheel (22) being rotatably mounted to one end of a first (40) of the at least two drive axles (38,40). Another of the wheels defining a second wheel (26). The second wheel (26) being rotatably mounted to one end of a second (38) of the at least two drive axles (38,40). The conveyance (10) further including a first actuation means (36) associated with the first drive axle (40), on the opposite end of the first drive axle (40) from the first wheel (22) and proximate the second wheel (26), and a second actuation means (32) associated with the second drive axle (38), on the opposite end of the second drive axle (38) from the second wheel (26) and proximate the first wheel (22). Wherein the first actuation means (36) is selectively operable to apply a selective relative rotation to the first wheel (22), and the second actuation means (32) is selectively operable to apply a selective relative rotation to the second wheel (26). |
