<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having high efficiency of a fan without stagnation of air. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger chamber 4 communicating with a blowout opening 13 and storing a heat exchanger 10, and a blower chamber 3 communicating with a suction opening 5, and storing a fan casing 7 including a centrifugal fan 6 and a motor 8 for driving the centrifugal fan 6, the heat exchanger chamber 4 and the blower chamber 3 are divided by a partitioning plate 2, and a straightening plate 14 is mounted at an outer side of the fan casing 7. As the stagnation of air flow sucked from a suction opening 5 is reduced, the air is allowed to flow into the centrifugal fan 6 along the fan casing 7, and the characteristic of the fan can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
