<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling interrupting print without decreasing the operation rate of a printer engine even when the interrupting PDL print of heavy PDL data is requested in an image forming apparatus, that is, a multi-function peripheral(MFP) in which a print part is shared by a copying function, a PDL print function and a facsimile print function or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This image input/output device is provided with: an image input means such as a reader part 1 and a facsimile part 4; a storage part 5 for storing image data; an image output means such as a printer part 2 and a facsimile part 4; and a core part 10 for controlling an image input job for transferring an image from one of the image input means to the storage part 5, controlling an image output job for transferring an image from the storage part 5 to one of the image output means and controlling image input/output by combining the image input job and the image output job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
