<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of solving the problem of energy saving due to reduction of necessary torque of a rotation drive point of a rotation module and consumption of a mobile contact while suppressing noise by being released from the problem of the mobile contact that must be mobile during a print job in the rotation module like a rotary developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus makes the rotation module have an independent power source, eliminates the mobile contact for supplying electric power, and supplies electromotive force of the independent power source during rotation stop by using a connection module capable of switching connection and non-connection of the rotation module and a body. In addition, the image forming apparatus supplies the independent power source of sufficient electromotive force to the rotation module without waiting electromotive force supply during printing by using an automatic charging module capable of exchanging a plurality of the independent power sources. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
