PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-vibrator type ultrasonic probe for a high temperature usable, for example, at a high temperature of 200-400°C capable of reducing the noise due to reberveration to enhance an S/N ratio, enhanced in yield, capable of shortening the time required in calibration and test, enhanced in interchangeability and capable of reducing the necessary number of spares. SOLUTION: The two-vibrator type ultrasonic probe is equipped with transmitting and receiving probes 10 wherein the center axes 11 of transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves cross mutually in an article 1 to be inspected and a heat-resistant propagation auxiliary member 20 having two probes attached to it in a detachable manner and propagating ultrasonic waves with respect to the article 1 to be inspected. The propagation auxiliary member 20 has the contact surface 22 coming into contact with the measuring surface 1a of the article 1 to be inspected, the inner bottom 24 of the probes in close vicinity to the contact surface and opposed to the contact surface to cross the center axes and a pair of female screw holes 26 extending from the inner bases to outer surfaces along the center axes. Two probes 10 are composed of the male screw parts 12 threaded with the female screw holes, the diameter expanded parts 14 coaxially provided to the upper parts of the male screw parts and having a diameter larger than that of the male screw parts and the ultrasonic vibrators 16 fixed to the upper surfaces of the diameter expanded parts. The under surfaces 13 of the male screw parts 12 are formed so as to be closely brought into contact with the inner bottom 24 of the propagation auxiliary member 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
