摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor for negative charging, capable of improving adhesiveness between a first layer and a second layer, without deteriorating the effect of reducing image defect, while reducing the total cost, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor for negative charging manufactured according to the method, and to provide an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor for negative charging, a substrate which has a first layer laminated thereon and where at least the head part of a protrusion is removed is placed in a film deposition furnace, the surface of the first layer is subjected to plasma processing with a dilution gas, consisting of a gas containing at least a group-XIII element on the periodic table and at least one element selected from among hydrogen, argon and helium and thereby a layer made of a non-single crystal material is laminated on the first layer as a second layer.
