ELEVATOR WINCH AND ELEVATOR DEVICE

An elevator winch capable of omitting a machine chamber and reducing the size of the top of an elevator shaft; and an elevator device. This elevator winch is constructed by arranging combinations of a drive motor and a drive sheave respectively at the opposite ends of a drive shaft. And, the winch is disposed at the top of the elevator shaft so that each combination of a drive motor and a drive sheave is positioned outside widthwise of the cage.
