PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple body length Kimono improved from conventional simple dressing Kimonos. SOLUTION: This simple body length Kimono worn by attaching upper and lower waist cords to the main body of the Kimono, forming cord-passing holes in the right and left side portions, passing the upper and lower waist cords through the cord-passing holes, winding the waist cords on the waist portion of a wearer, and then tightening the waist cords is characterized by downward widening the collar of the Kimono main body and attaching a half collar to the upper edge portion of the Kimono main body to freely wear or take off the Kimono main body. The method for wearing a simple body length Kimono is characterized by preparing the body length Kimono whose main body collar is downward widened, at whose edge a half collar is disposed, and which can simply and easily be worn or changed by a wearer alone without being helped by any other person.
