PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion method capable of sufficiently performing complete combustion in a flame and obtaining a stable combustion state by using general recycled waste plastic grain pieces, and a combustion burner suitably used for this. SOLUTION: This combustion burner 10 is provided with a burner main body 11 including an inner cylinder 20 for sending misty fuel and an outer cylinder 18 surrounding the perimeter of the inner cylinder 20 and sending air a for combustion; and an auxiliary fuel supply cylinder 22 arranged in the vicinity of a tip of the outer cylinder 18 of the burner main body 11 near an opening part 21 from which a flame F is blown out and obliquely supplying the waste plastic grain pieces p together with air from outside to inside of the flame F.
