PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly heating cooker with an improved door handle for allowing easy opening/closing of a door even when closed/opened. SOLUTION: The heating cooker comprises a cooker body 2 having an opening in the front face for storing a heated object to be heated and cooked, heating means 4, 5, 6 for heating the heated object stored in the body 2, and the door 7 having one end mounted on the body 2 and the other end mounted with the handle 9 having a hand portion 8 for freely opening/closing the front opening of the body 2. In the state that the door closes the body 2, the handle 9 is moved so that the hand portion 8 is located where an axial line 11 connecting the position of mounting the handle 9 of the door 7 to the hand portion 8 is approximately perpendicular to the door 7.
