<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the writing for a long time possible by a method wherein the pressure of fingers are absorbed under the condition that the positional relationship among the fingers of a user is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The grip (8) of a writing utensil is formed by juxtaposing a plurality of flange-like projections (9) projecting towards the radial direction of a barrel along the axial direction of the barrel on the surface of the middle axis part (7) of the barrel (2) and sealingly covering en bloc the flange-like projections (9) with a cylindrical covering body (12) so as to form spaces (14) within the body (12). When the grip of the writing utensil is grasped by the fingers, the air within the spaces (14) is moved by grasping pressure resulting in deforming the grip under the condition that the covering body is supported by the flange-like projections adjoining to each other. Due to the absorption of the pressures of the fingers by the deformation and to the limitation of the deformation of the covering body by the flange-like projections adjoining to each other, the initial positional relationship among the fingers can be maintained, resulting in letting a user make the writing for a long time possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
