摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The component for gas turbines, and especially aero engines, is of a compound material where at least one high tensile fiber is embedded in a metal matrix. The metal matrix is of titanium, or a titanium-based alloy, and the high tensile fibers have shape memory retention in the temperature range where the component has a martensitic structure and a pseudo-plastic material behavior. Each fiber, e.g. of SiC, is coated with a NiTi shape memory retention alloy or NiTiCu and NiTiNb, or CuZnAl, CuAlNi, FeMnSi. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The component comprising a metal matrix composite (MMC) material is especially for gas turbines and aero engines. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The material has reduced internal stress.</p>
